HEALTH TO DEVELOP PROGRAM TO HELP
GET
THE MOST FOR THE PRESCRIPTION DOLLAR
Consumer Health
Information Corporation has been awarded a contract by the
Canadian Pharmaceutical Association to develop a multi-faceted
program to help consumers and corporations get the most value
for their prescription dollar.
The program will
describe the types of pharmacy services consumers need from
the community pharmacist in order to decrease drug-related
complications, decrease overall health care costs and improve
quality of life.
Consumer Health
Information Corporation, founded in 1983, specializes in the
development of programs to help consumers understand how to
manage their prescription medications and nonprescription
drugs correctly. The specialized team of distinguished physicians
and pharmacists has developed a wide variety of consumer publications
and patient counseling tools in the United States and Canada.
The company is also frequently invited to serve as a resource
to consumer publications, newspapers and television.
